lzgoldengateHi – I’m Laura Zavelson.

I write about startups. I also curate resources that I think will be helpful to female entrepreneurs and people who teach entrepreneurship.

I love to write, I love to teach and I love helping founders lead their ventures to success.

I’ve been a CEO/Founder 2x (sold one after 10 years, shut one down after 6) and since 2013 I’ve been mentoring start-ups as one of the founding Entrepreneurs-in-Residence at Launch Chapel Hill. I’ve also taught undergraduate and MBA classes (Elon & UNC-Chapel Hill) in entrepreneurship, venture funding and branding/integrated marketing.

I relocated back to the Bay Area in 2015 so my husband could take his dream job at Google and now I’m building mine. If you’re looking for someone to work with you on:

Customer development
Go to market strategy & traction
Funding strategy and pitching
Brand creation and development/differentiation
Content strategy
Taking the team from 5 to 25…

I’ve worked with founders on consumer apps, e-commerce, social-impact, B2B tech, medtech, food and more. I can help. I can consult, run workshops, advise one on one or advise the entire founding team. I’m also available for speaking engagements.

Check out my experience on LinkedIn and feel free to follow me @LauraZavelson. I tweet about the same things I write about.

Contact me at lzavelson at gmail. I’d love to hear what you’re working on.
